Nine beautiful couples said “I do” during mass marriage celebrated at St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Mbezi Mwisho-Dar es Salaam. On17th August 2024, the parishioners joined with these couples in thanking God, as they received the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony. Rev. Fr. Stan Rodrigues OCD, presided over the Holy Eucharist commemorating this significant day.
In his homily, Fr. Stan called upon the couples “to be faithful to each other, as it is the very foundation of sacrament of marriage”. Continuing, he invited them always “to be nourished by the Eucharistic Lord: the source and secret of a successful marriage life”. The parish congratulated these nine couples for their courage to begin this new chapter in their life.
A small felicitation programme after the Eucharistic celebration was held at Parish Hall. Invited guests, Parish leaders, joined this event to congratulate the newlyweds. Parishioners congratulate these happy couples and wishes them well in their marital life, invoking God’s choicest blessings on them.
