The Discalced Carmelites in Songea at Mpandangindo celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the 18^th of July 2020. The solemn festal Eucharist was presided by Very Rev. Fr. Michael Kahemela, the Professor of Peramiho Seminary and concelebrated by 19 priests who represented different Congregations and priests from the archdiocese of Songea. The solemn Eucharist was at 10.30 am. Almost 60 nuns, novices, postulants and candidates belonging to different congregations were present. All the diocesan priests individually and all the religious representatives of their communities were given a memento as a gratitude for their presence. The entire celebration was well organized by Carmelite Friars Fr. Roshan Pinto OCD and Fr. Raymond Santhanaz OCD.  After the solemn mass there was a monastic agape to share the festive joy and unity.
