The Carmelite Pre & Primary School Sports Bonanza was held on August 22, 2025, with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was graced by Eng. Helen Masanja, one of the Board Directors of the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC), and Rev. Fr. Elius Malale, OCD, the Regional Vicar of the Discalced Carmelites in Tanzania, as the Guest of Honor.
Fr. Praveen Frank, the School Director, warmly welcomed the guests and all those present. Among the distinguished guests were Fr. Urban Dimona, Prof. Judith Raymond Mushi from the University of Milan, and Mrs. Eligina Komba, member of the School Committee.
The inaugural ceremony began at 9:00 a.m. with the hoisting of the National Flag and School Flags, followed by the oath-taking ceremony. The Sports Day was officially declared open with the unveiling of the Sports Day Plaque by the Chief Guest. Both dignitaries shared a few inspiring words, motivating the participants and the audience.
The games commenced with a symbolic penalty kick, setting the tone for a day full of spirited competitions. A variety of sports and fun activities were organized not only for the students but also for the parents, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
The winners were felicitated with gifts and recognition, celebrating their talents and achievements. The day concluded with joy, laughter, and cherished memories for everyone present.
