The Discalced Carmelites Friars gathered for their Annual Retreat from November 25 to November 29, 2024, at Carmel Prayer House in Dodoma. Prior to the official inauguration of the new retreat center, scheduled for the second week of January 2025.
The retreat was led by Rev. Dr. Fr. Leonard Maliva, a renowned preacher from the Catholic Diocese of Iringa, who guided the participants through a week of deep spiritual renewal. All community members took part in this special time of reflection and prayer except a few friars.
The Vicariate of Tanzania extends its heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Dr. Fr. Maliva for his inspiring and thoughtful talk. The Vicariate office is grateful also to the communities for their support towards this new upcoming Community.
