Malisho Novitiate Community at Uyole, Mbeya celebrated the Feast of St Therese of Child Jesus, the Patroness of the Community with great solemnity on October 1st. It was Solemnity for the Community so on 30th September evening we had the First Vespers of solemnity. On 1st there was solemn mass in the Malisho Outstation novices and OCDS joining with the faithful presided by Rev. Fr. Edwin Mushi, the Provincial Delegate of OCDS in Tanzania. One of the OCDS, Sesilia Matayo Nkulungu renewed her promises during the mass. The novices with their angelic voices added festive beauty. After the solemn mass the OCDS joined the Community for Breakfast. Then later in the evening the entire Community had solemn Eucharistic celebration as the Community celebration presided by Fr. Raymond Santhanaz, the Superior of the Community. The festive day had its climax with the great agape. During the agape novices had great fun with singing and dancing. Thus the Community celebration ended praising God and thanking St. Therese for all her intercession for the community.

Now we look forward to renovating our community building and completing all the works through the intercession of St. Therese. St. Therese of Child Jesus, Pray for Us.
