The 16th graduation ceremony of Carmel Secondary School, Malolo was held on September 28, 2024.The day commenced with a Celebration of the Holy Eucharist, which signifies the Thanksgiving. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Fr. Elius Malale, the Regional Vicar of Carmelites in Tanzania and the Manager of Carmel Schools and concelebrated by Fr. Aureus Mwinuka the School Director and Frs. Prosper Rwechungura, John Muna and Paul Nampota. Fr. Malale’s inspiring homily encouraged graduates to embrace their education and use their talents for the betterment of society.

Following the Eucharist, the ceremony continued with speeches and presentations. Euphrasia Buchuma, the Regional Education Officer, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her address, she praised the graduates for their achievements and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with determination and integrity. She highlighted the importance of education in shaping the future leaders of the community and the nation.

The ceremony also featured performances from students, showcasing their talents in music and dance, which added a vibrant atmosphere to the event. Awards were presented to outstanding students in various academic and extracurricular categories, recognizing their exceptional contributions to the school during four years

The event concluded with a heartfelt farewell to the graduates, who will soon be writing their National Exams. The 16th graduation ceremony at Carmel Secondary School was not just a celebration of academic achievement, but a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared to face the challenges ahead.
