On the 20^th of November 2016 on the Christ the King feast the outstation belonging to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Morogoro had multiple celebrations. The outstation celebrated their feast as it is named after ‘Christ the King’; secondly temporary Church was blessed, thirdly 37 children received the first Holy Communion after one year of complete preparation and finally the outstation blessed and laid the foundation stone for building the new Church. The Eucharistic celebration was solemnized by the Vicar General of the Morogoro Diocese Rev. Fr. Patrick Kung’alu. He expressed his joy to bless and lay the foundation stone for the new Church. Frs. Vivian Menezes the parochial Vicar, Sylvester Msemwa and Fr. Praveen Frank concelebrated.
