Once again, on July 20, 2025, at the Noviciate Community at Malisho, Mbeya, six novices made their first religious vows. This was a joy-filled event in the lives of the professing novices and the formation community.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Elius Modest Malale, OCD, the Regional Vicar of the Vicariate of St. Therese of Child Jesus, Tanzania, and concelebrated by nine priests from our different communities, religious family members of the novices, friends, and faithful of the Outstation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Malisho.

Filled with joy and firm resolve, six novices professed vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience following the constitution of the order. The newly professed members are Bro. Edward Kolosi (Tanzania), Bro. Oscar Massawe (Tanzania), Bro. Silvano Stephano (Tanzania), Bro. Badaga Conrad (Uganda), Bro. Ahebwa Deogratious (Uganda), and Bro. Mawejje Andrew (Uganda).

The Vicariate remains grateful to the noviciate community for their dedication to the formation of these newly professed brothers and congratulates the newly professed brothers, wishing them all the best on their scholastic journey.
