An historical event took place for the first time in the Parish of St. Martin of Tours, Mpandagindo, Songea. As a part of Year of Mercy, 24 hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was organized of which people were not aware at all. On 31^st October after the morning mass at 7.30 AM Blessed Sacrament was exposed for the public adoration till 1^st of November 7.30 AM in the morning. From 31^st morning till 1^st morning people took turn according to their Small Christian Communities. In the night vigil all the Pious Associations took part. It was a first experience to the people and they wish to have it every year.
