Discalced Carmelite friars of St. Therese of Child Jesus of the Vicariate of Tanzania gathered at St. Gasper College Kola for their 8th Special Vicariate Congress. Special was moderated by Rev. Fr. Silvestre D,Souza the Provincial of Karnataka Goa.

Total number of Twenty-seven friars were present for the discussion and deliberation on various matters pertaining to the administration, formation, apostolate and community life.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, Capitular fathers, voted for the new team for the triennium. The result was as follows:

1. Rev. Fr. Elius Modest Malale OCD

2. Rev. Fr. Nelson Osmond Vaz OCD

3. Rev. Fr. Reginald Safari Mworia OCD

Fr. Provincial, along with the Congress Fathers, wish the new team God’s wisdom in leading society towards the physical and spiritual growth of the Order in the church of Tanzania.
