October 16th became memorable and an historical day at St. Martin of Tour Parish, Mpandangindo, in the Archdiocese of Songea. The parish celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Religious Life of Fr. Baptist Fernandes and Fr. Vivian Menezes who were earlier Parish Priests at Mpandangindo. The celebration also included the 60th birthday of Fr. Raymond Santhanaz. The Eucharistic Celebration started at 10 am, presided over by Fr. Baptist and concelebrated by 10 priests besides the jubilerians. A good numbers of nuns and also faithful were present. After the communion prayers the jubilerians were facilitated and were given gifts. As the people were going out all who were present were given a packet of biscuits and a bottle of juice. And all the invited guests and those who were contributed had the agape with the jubilerians. It was a great celebration.
