“Zelo zelatus sum pro Domino Deo exercituum.”  (With zeal have I been zealous for the Lord God of Hosts). The powerful words of Prophet Elijah which is the motto of the Carmelites, on this great feast of Prophet Elijah 20^th of July 2018, the Vicariate of the Discalced Carmelite of Tanzania made history as six young men make their commitment to the Lord through religious profession. Fr. Sylvester Msemwa OCD, the Regional Vicar presided over the Solemn Eucharist and invited the brothers to be filled with the same zeal that of Prophet Elijah to serve the Lord God of Hosts. The Scholastics through their melodious singing raised the heart and mind of the faithful to God.
