On the Feast day of St. Terese of Avila, October 15^th 2017, St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish at Mbezi, Dar Es Salaam solemnly inaugurated its Decennial Jubilee year of the Parish together with the twenty couples who blessed their marriages. It was moment of grace and blessing to the parish and to the couples. The Solemn Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Sylvester Msemwa, the Regional Vicar of the Discalced Carmelites in Tanzania and concelebrated by 8 priests. Rev. Fr. Sunil Menezes the newly appointed Parochial Vicar thanked and briefed the people the various events and programs for the Jubilee year. The Jubilee year was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon, lighting the candles and handing over the trophy to the Vice President of the Parish.
