The rite of admission to the ministries of Lectors and Acolytes for thirteen (13) Discalced Carmelites brothers took place at St. Edith Stein Scholastic House, Kola, during the Eucharistic celebration, which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Elius Modest Malale, the Regional Vicar of Discalced Carmelites Tanzania. Frs. Renatus Payovela, Theophil Wabukundi, John Gibson,George Masambu, and Simon Rupoli concelebrated.
The Melodius Choir of the Discalced Carmelites Scholastics raised the minds and hearts of those present. In his homily, Rev. Fr. Elius Modest Malale exhorted them to always take time to prepare themselves before liturgical ceremonies, for liturgy is the centre of Christian worship.
Discalced Carmelites of the Vicariate of St. Therese of Child Jesus wish the newly instituted lectors and acolytes all the best in their liturgical services.
