The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Morogoro celebrated the feast of their patroness on July 16. Fr. Patrick Kung’alu Vicar General of the Morogoro Diocese presided over the Solemn Eucharistic celebration along with other concelebrants. Nine days novenas were held in honour of our Mother and each day people reflected on the various apparitions of Blessed Mother and her contribution in the four Mysteries of our Lord Jesus. On the feast day Scapulars were blessed and distributed to the people. Fr. Vivian Menezes OCD the Parish Priest recognized the service of each and everyone towards the building of the Parish and thanked them. At the all were served with Juice and cake.
